a) St. Peter park donation. A public dedication will occur on Monday, May 26th, at 6 pm.
Details discussed were as follows:
• Tom Janke, County Highway Commissioner, indicated that it may be possible to install signage, reduce the speed limit, mark a crosswalk and/or install a flashing warning light. Mr. Janke indicated that there may be a cost for installation and maintenance. He would consult his staff about it. He requested a map; which has been provided.
• Roger Braun quoted $100 to collapse and bury the septic tank; $250 to remove it. Committee consensus was to have it removed. Mr. Braun will be asked to remove the three tree stumps.
• A parking lot will be built at the southeast corner of the lot. Committee consensus was to build parking for four cars; but to accommodate expansion of the parking lot in the development plan.
• The public provided a list of desired components. The list has been provided to the consultant. Mr. Jewett is awaiting a revised design with cost estimates.
• The Committee intends to create a fundraising group. Mr. Jewett will draft a letter to send to meeting attendees, and to post on the notice boards and the website.
• A preliminary site plan was reviewed.
• A split rail fencing will be install along CTH QQ. The location, in relationship to the trees, will be determined based upon the County’s setback requirements.
• The trees have been trimmed. Abler Tree Co. will be asked to chip the branches; leaving the chippings on site for use on the lot.
