PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Plan Commission of the Town of Taycheedah will meet on Monday, February 14th, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., at the Taycheedah Town Hall for the purpose of making a recommendation to the Town Board on the petition of Prairie Rock Farms, Inc., to rezone the following described property from Exclusive Agricultural (A-1) to Residential with public sewer (R-1):
A part of the NW Ό of the NE Ό of Section 12, T16N, R18E, Town of Taycheedah, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, containing 29,923 sf/.687 acres and being described as follows:
Commencing at the North Quarter Corner of said Section 12; thence S 89*4749 E a distance of 623.18 ft along the north line of the NE Ό to the centerline of CTH W; thence S 24*0803 E a distance of 1,155.19 ft along the centerline; thence N 89*5701 W a distance of 43.85 ft to the W right-of-way line of CTH W and the point of beginning; thence S 24*0803 E a distance of 209.22 ft along the W right-of-way line; thence S 89*4302 W a distance of 156.26 ft; thence N 24*0019 W a distance of 210.00 ft; thence S 89*5701 E a distance of 156.15 ft to the point of beginning.
Parcel 1 abuts County Trunk W.

Commencing at the North Quarter Corner of said Section 12; thence S 01*0323 E a distance of 581.56 ft along the west line of the NE Ό to the point of beginning; thence continuing S 01*0323 E a distance of 216.44 ft; thence N 89*4302 E a distance of 258.17 ft to the NE corner of Certified Survey Map No. 566; thence N 01*1102 E a distance of 214.94 ft to the south line of the Loehrs Subdivision; thence N 89*4302 W a distance of 258.17 ft along the south line to the point of beginning.
Parcel 2 abuts County Trunk Q.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Town Board will meet on Monday, February 14th, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. at the Taycheedah Town Hall for the purpose of considering the recommendation of the Plan Commission and to act on the above petition.
Town Board members may be in attendance at the Plan Commission hearing.

The Town of Taycheedah Plan Commission conducted a public hearing on Monday, February 14th, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., at the Taycheedah Town Hall, for the purpose of making a recommendation to the Town Board on behalf of Prairie Rock Farms, Inc.s request to rezone two lots for a total of 1.986 acres from A-1 (Exclusive Agricultural) to R-1 (Residential with public sewer). Parcel 1 consists of .687 acres abuts County Trunk W and Parcel 2 consists of 1.299 acres abuts County Trunk Q. Members present were Chairman John Wagner, Joe Thome, Joan Simon, Leon Schneider, Tim Simon and Secretary Brenda Schneider. Absent were Bud Sabel and Bill Spieker.
The Chairman called the public hearing to order at 6:36 pm.
Prairie Rock was not represented at the meeting. Clerk Brenda Schneider briefed the Plan Commission regarding the request.
Prairie Rock planned to eventually sell the parcels for residential development. They paid for the installation of sewer laterals to both of the lots when the collection system was constructed a few years ago by Johnsburg Sanitary District.
The request complies with the Towns Comprehensive Plan.
Joe Thome motioned to recommend the Town Board approve Prairie Rocks request to rezone Lots 1 and 2 from A-1 to R-1, noting displeasure with Prairie Rocks lack of representation, further citing that the request complies with the Comprehensive Plan, seconded by Leon Schneider. Motion carried (5-0-2 absent).
Leon Schneider motioned to adjourn at 6:49 p.m., seconded by Joe Thome. Motion carried (5-0-2 absent).
