AGENDA

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Plan Commission of the Town of Taycheedah will meet on Thursday, May 26th, 2016, at 6:45 p.m., at the Taycheedah Town Hall for the purpose of making recommendations to the Town Board regarding the zoning of the following described properties, owned by 7TZ Farm Girl, LLC, from General Agriculture District (A-2) to Exclusive Agriculture/Farmland Preservation District (A-1):

Parcel 1-T20-16-18-28-03-001-00, Section 28, part of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, 40.00 acres;
Parcel 2-T20-16-18-28-02-001-00, Section 28, part of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4, 25.40 acres; and
Parcel 3-T20-16-18-28-01-001-00, Section 28, part of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, 22.16 acres.

The parcels are contiguous and are located on W3875 McCabe Road.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Town Board will meet on Thursday, May 26th, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at the Taycheedah Town Hall, for the purpose of considering the recommendation of the Plan Commission and to act on the above noted petition.

Town Board members will be in attendance during the Plan Commission hearing.

PUBLIC HEARING

REZONE
THURSDAY, MAY 26th, 2016
6:45 P.M.
TAYCHEEDAH TOWN HALL

Members present: Chairman John Wagner, Bud Sabel, Leon Schneider, Joan Simon, Tim Simon, Bill Spieker and Joe Thome. Also present: Secretary Brenda Schneider.

The purpose of the public hearing was to make a recommendation to the Town Board regarding the rezoning of the following described lands from General Agriculture District (A-2) to Exclusive Agriculture/Farmland Preservation District (A-1):

Parcel 1-T20-16-18-28-03-001-00, Section 28, part of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, 40.00 acres;
Parcel 2-T20-16-18-28-02-001-00, Section 28, part of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4, 25.40 acres; and
Parcel 3-T20-16-18-28-01-001-00, Section 28, part of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, 22.16 acres.

The parcels are contiguous and are located at W3875 McCabe Road.

The Chairman Wagner called the public hearing to order at 7:31 pm.

Chairman Wagner noted that the rezone request does not comply with the Comprehensive Plan.

Motion by Joe Thome, second by Bud Sabel, to recommend the Town Board deny the request to rezone the above noted lands from General Agriculture (A-2) to Exclusive Agriculture (A-1). Motion carried (7-0).

Motion by Bill Spieker, second by Bud Sabel, to adjourn at 7:32 p.m. Motion carried (7-0).
